He is the 2019 Professional Open Champion of the UK Aerial Performance Championships in Flying Pole, and the 2019 Regional Champion in the Professional Open category on Hoop. His movement work focuses on developing good core, technique and form, with flow and a performing flair. Zaki is adept at a wide range of aerial disciplines, but primarily performs on the Flying Pole, Hoop, Silks and Dance Trapeze (with a big spin of course!). Starting his training in ballet at a late age, he moved on to explore and develop in other different dance styles and functional movement training, before taking all the skills he’s learnt into the air as a pole and aerial performer, choreographer and coach across the world. Zaki is a multi-disciplinary circus artist pulling from a wide background of movement and disciplines both on the ground and in the air. Mia loves all kind of dance and movement on and off the pole, she is passionate about sharing and teaching her practice with heels or without. She is an ambassador of Budokon and teaches BDK Yoga, BDK Mobility and BDK Calisthenics. Mia completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in India and did a 500 hour teacher training at Budokon Mixed Movement Arts University in Miami. Mia founded and is performing with her own Pole & Contemporary Dance Company “AURORA movement”. She fell in love with Pole Dancing and continued her journey qualifying as an Instructor and started teaching. She discovered pole in her first year of study in London, through a project that fused contemporary and pole dancing together. She studied dance for 3 years at high school and went to London to complete a BA in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She did Freestyle Disco Jazz Dance competitions for over 10 years. She started with African Traditional Dance then went on to do Gymnastics, Ballett, Jazz, Contemporary, Hiphop, House and more.


She always knew she wanted to be a dancer, in the determination towards her dance career she trained many different styles of dance. Originally from Norway, Mia has been dancing since the age of 3. Over the summer, she performed at the Bridge Theatre playing a fairy in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Nicholas Hytner. This year she placed second at IPAAT Champions Division and took fourth amongst 28 competitors in the elite division of Pole Art Italy 2019. In November 2018, she took the winning title of the elite division at Pole Art UK. In fall of 2018, she performed with Jenyne Butterfly in Las Vegas for her show “Rise” and placed third at Pole-a-Palooza. She competed as a finalist and placed third at the World Pole Dance Championships in May 2018.

She holds the title of Miss Pole Dance UK Pro Division 2017. Pole competitions include IPAAT Elite Division 2016 – first place and best tricks, PSO Zurich Women’s Professional Division 2017 -second place. In addition, she trained as a rhythmic gymnast for many years and competed in the United States at a high level, even advancing to the US Junior Olympics. Even though she comes from a strong balletic background, she has also explored many different forms of dance including tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballroom, salsa, tango and African dance. Pole dancer and aerialist, Rachel has been dancing since the age of three, and has always had a passion for movement.
